We have been taking 19 hour long trips once a year for the last 4 years. In the past we have borrowed friends portable players. This year our friends wasn't available and we plan on making a few longer trips this summer, so I did a lot of research and ended up purchasing these portable dvd players. We have had them in our kitchen testing out the battery and quality as we will be needing them for a wedding this summer to keep our kiddos occupied as well as for a few road trips. I installed them quickly and easily in our Toyota Sienna last night. Did a quick test to make sure they worked and while running errands today i had them playing. I am very impressed with the remote and sound. The kids are so thrilled to have them. We didn't have any skipping issues and we love the memory feature. The remote works from the drivers seat which will be handy for our 19 hour road trip coming up. I cannot believe i waited so long to purchase these. Very happy customer!
We haven't had the system long but everything works great so far.Very decent audio quality for this type of system. Sound level is more than adequate for all except the most noisy vehicles. I would still recommend headphones for best sound in a vehicle. Video quality is fine on both the master and slave units. It's nice having a rechargeable battery that allows use outside the car. Overall, I think it's a good value for the price. Recommended.
My kids absolutely love being able to watch movies in the car again! These dvd players are really easy to install and use. The volume and screen quality are great. The cables are long enough to use cable management methods so it doesnt look like a mess in your car. We ordered the headrest dvd holders that are made for these as well and they make it easy to put them away when you are not going to be in your car. I will be repurchasing if we ever need to! They are awesome!
Great picture but some of the frame needed to be snapped into place but that was no big deal! Easy to use and made driving from Michigan to Florida and back easy with a 3 & 5 year old.
We have had this DVD player for about 9 months and when we plugged it in today, it started smoking. I would really look into getting another one. Good thing we weren't on the road when it happened. That would have freaked me out.
